JCPO is dedicated to engaging with students and communities throughout Jersey City. Over the years, JCPO has launched several programs and volunteer opportunities.

In 2016, JCPO launched its outreach program, the Honors Musician Program.

​

In 2017, JCPO expanded the Honors Musician Program into the Jersey City community. JCPO coordinated small group performances in nearby senior living centers, nursing homes, churches, and other venues.

These small chamber groups provide beautiful music all throughout Jersey City, which is accessible to all.

In 2018, JCPO became a certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to honor our most outstanding volunteers and recognize their impact.​
